CASE STUDY: The Move of Spark! to Venture X

What do they do?

Spark!, a team of 17 dedicated individuals, is a youth employment charity operating across West London since 2010, committed to ensuring all young people are ready, equipped, motivated, and able to enter the world of work. By providing meaningful employment engagement, work readiness skills development, and employment opportunities, Spark! supports young people, especially those who need it most.
Spark!’s recent move to Venture X, White City, marks an exciting new chapter. This vibrant, collaborative workspace will enhance the charity’s ability to connect with local businesses and community leaders, creating essential partnerships. With state-of-the-art facilities, Venture X offers the perfect environment for Spark!’s innovative programmes and initiatives.

Spark!’s Move to Venture X

Spark! moved to Venture X’s White City office in April, which is strategically located next to the newly launched West London Retail Skills Hub, a collaborative project between Spark!, Westfield & West London College – residing inside Westfield itself. The West London Retail Skills Hub, launched in June, aims to seamlessly link young people with retail training and career opportunities. Venture X’s geographic location supports Spark!’s mission to equip young people with the skills needed to thrive in various industries, addressing the gap where only 10% of young people consider a career in retail.
Between 2022/23, Spark! supported 3287 young people across 61 schools with the help of 369 employer partners spanning 22 sectors. All enabled by over 14,800 hours of volunteering from 778 incredible individuals. In all Spark! generated 4,195 employer engagement opportunities.Spark! is excited about the future and the opportunities that Venture X will bring. The charity remains dedicated to empowering young people and creating a brighter future for them across London.Join Us in Shaping the FutureJoin us in ensuring all young people, particularly those who will benefit most, have access to meaningful employer engagement.
